This site shows the good Anonymous has done, this is helpful as I can then reference these these events in my FMP, adding more continuity with the real world, adding to the realism of the film, and hopefully making it more enjoyable to the audience.

This site shows off the many different types of hacker, this will be quite vital for my FMP as the world of hacking uses very specific terms.
White Hat hackers are the good guys, these are the people who leak information to the public thats hidden to the public and take down the worst websites out there, Anonymous has taken down multiple child porn rings and has repeatedly attacked the westboro baptist church, whilst declaring all out war on IS just a few months ago, Anonymous and many other white hat hackers will be quite prevalent in my FMP.
Black Hat Hackers are the bad guys, the leak any information for profit, they sell arms to terrorists and in many cases are the terrorists, black hat hackers are just as talented as white hat hackers they just use their talents for personal gain rather than helping others, in some cases actually going out of their way to hurt others.
Grey Hat hackers are right in the middle, they do both bad and good dead but heirs normally always money involved, they aren't good but they're not bad either, they are literally the middle ground.
Elite Hackers are the best of the best, they can hack into anything given enough time, and once in they are unstoppable, very few elite hackers exist, and most are so good that you wouldn't know they exist anyways, because they are very good at clearing their tracks.
Script Kiddie, these hackers are just starting out, they have basic IT skills and can hack into basic software, edit files on PC's etc, most people can achieve this as its very easy to learn.

Protagonist Idea(s): Gary Mckinnon was a hacker interested in UFOs but got caught out by the US military, when he hacked into their symptoms, my protagonist could have similar events happen to him, but perhaps, rather than the US military chasing him a far darker group could chase him down, forcing him to join Anonymous.
Antagonist Idea(s): This character cold be built off the Greek hacker Astra, who specialised in weapons dealings, whoever they are, they were the ultimate criminal mastermind.

This site is about showing the most prospoterous hacking scenes in many films, some of the scenarios in these scenes do make little sense and a hacker could never achieve this, this has shown me that I need to keep a very tight lid on what is actually achievable, and not to go too extreme with my hacking scenes.

This site can give me information on how anonymous runs, and hopefully a general idea of how most hacking groups run, as anonymous shall be the main protagenists for my FMP this will give me a good idea of how to implement them accurately, I.e the good they've done,the bad they've done, their enimeis, allies and supporters, all this will aid me in my FMP.

Library research
Today the class went to the library to find some books on our FMPS, I found one on the unexplained mysteries of world war 2, it will help me with my research into secret organisations that could be used as possible enemies and villains for the hero in my FMP.

progress update 1
I have a very good idea on what my FMP shall be about, my research is going very well and is helping me to improve on my idea further.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-XpPEmcnKCk In this video, the most dangerous hackers in history were explained in an upbeat fashion, this has given ideas for the leading villain in my film, and his henchmen, they could be desperate for money and are forced to perform a internet heist, or just wanting to hurt others, a sort of revenge.

Interview results
Kieran: Kieran didn't take the interview too seriously, but he seemed to like the idea of a hacking/war film, this shows good potential for the film as Kieran gave quite good feedback for the film and he does watch films in theses genres so he has a rough subject knowledge.
Elliot: Elliot watches films in both genres so he too has an understanding of these genres, Elliot gave very good feedback, so I plan to keep the idea simple, and not overstretch my budget and plot to an extreme that just would not work.

Research into war films/hacking films
Trailers, films watched:
Alien outpost (trailer): aline outpost os a small budget film, with some quite dramatic camera shots, however the CGI used isn't feasible for my film, so I plan to compensate by putting a more mysterious ora around it.
Fury: The budget for fury is far more than what I could afford, but its stroyline is compelling and meaningful, I intend to have a similar effect but showing more of the long lasting effect of war on people, like the mental aspects, and how people perceive war as a whole.
Unbroken (trailer): again, conveying a powerful message however focus on fighting on, finding something to fight for, this could come across in my film as well.
The captive (trailer): no special effects are used, instead they appear to be replaced by a gripping storyline, showing that a low budget can be compensated by a small budget.
Stalingrad (trailer): Stalingrad goes for more of a shock value, I feel that being a little more subtle and shock value wouldn't fit in my film.
