FMP proposal

My name is Ryan Arthur Day, I am a 17 year old male who enjoys filmmaking song writing and creating videos for youtube and writing fantasy novels this shows in my work, which is heavily influenced by my interests.

My FMP

 Game of codes is about a hacker who finds himself in the middle of a cyber war between anonymous, a gang of criminal hackers and the authorities themselves, he must quickly choose a side and enter a world where your greatest weapon is your mind. He must embark on a journey tool learn who the true villains are in the world.

Logistics

I will be filming most scenes in free rooms in the college as I will be able to use any free computers for hacking scenes, this keeps logistics easy to cope with and my actors will not have to travel far, some other scenes may be filmed in shoebury park which is close to my house so again, logistics shouldn't be too much of a problem, however the finale fight scene will be in hadleigh castle, so I shall have to catch a bus and make sure all my actors are free.

Budget

My budget is quite low, I plan to film most scenes near my home so I can too and from each scene without spending too much money, however as most of my actors may need transport to hadleigh castle, so a small amount shall be spent on transport.

I have given myself a rough budget of £20, this should include food and transport for actors.

Schedule 

I plan to film all through the half term as most of my actors will be free.

Questionare results

The average age of those interviewed was 15 to 18

Those interviewed showed they only sometimes enjoy war films, this the war element of my FMP being dropped entirely.

Those given the questionnaire mostly said they enjoy films with an underlying message
This also shows that netflix is what they use most to watch tv shows and films.

This shows that people like both blockbusters and indie films
This shows that people like a few plot twists but not a lot of them

This result is split between a straight up no, and sometimes, so this result put the hacking element of the FMP as risk as it was uncertain weather or not it would work.
A majority of those who took the questionnaire where unsure if they'd see a film on cyber warfare, this virtually solidified the requirement to remove it entirely.
